I’ve been researching for what’s the best online store who sells affordable makeups lately, since I find it kind of hard buying them on Instagram coz I’m more of a click click and then it goes to the cart kind of girl. Then I stumbled upon The Primp Pad. I was surprised at how low their prices are compared to other online sellers so I couldn’t wait to order a few of their available products.
Below are the products that I got from ELF cosmetic:
1. Let’s start with the ELF Essentials Tone Correcting Concealer
Primp Pad price: 68 pesos
Retails for: 129.75 pesos
I got the shade in Ivory… so far I’ve used it about 2 to 3 times and it does take care of the redness I have normally near my eye brows and nose. I’m not quite sure yet if I like it, I wish it had more coverage than it has coz I do have to apply it quite a bit for it to actually cover my blemishes.
2. Next is the ELF Essentials Eyelid Primer
Primp Pad price: 68 pesos
Retails for 129.75 pesos
Now this one I’ve been loving, a little goes a long way with this and it really does make my eye shadow look radiant throughout the day.
3. ELF Essentials Lipstick and ELF Studio Moisturizing Lipstick
Primp pad price: 68 pesos and 168 pesos
Retails for: 129.75 pesos and (not sure how much it is for ELF Studio Moisturizing Lipstick)
The three ELF Essentials Lipstick shades that I got are: Flirtatious, Seductive and Sociable. Out of the three, my favourite is probably the shade Seductive since I normally lean towards to mauve-y colors. And the least one that I liked is Flirtatious coz I felt it to be a bit to light on me. Though I did have problems with the packaging since I really had to twist a bit hard just to get the product out, but you are getting what you paid for. So I guess it’s okay, since it isssss just 68 pesos.
The ELF Studio Moisturizing Lipstick that I got is in the shade Red Carpet. I’ve only tried wearing it once and I just love how the color makes my teeth look whiter. I haven’t tried wearing it all day yet so I wouldn’t know whether it is long lasting or not. But it was easy to apply and I did find it to be opaque.
4. ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder
Primp Pad price: 168 pesos
Retails for: 249.75 pesos
The shade that I got is in St. Lucia. I thought while I was ordering this that I might go a bit light on my skin, but actually when I tried it on, it really was pigmented. A little goes a long way as well especially with the bronzing powder. For the blush, I like using it as is but sometime if I’m going after a more of a glow, I tend to mix the two together.
I just loved transacting with the Primp Pad, it was fast, easy and smooth. I will definitely buy another haul from them especially the products that were sold old already. Ladies, do go on their site http://www.theprimppad.com/ and I promise you that your money will be well spent. You don’t have to spend a lot just to be fabulous! Till next time!
